All this information and a whole lot more is also in the revised edition of The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding which has been completely updated by its authors Diane Wiessinger, Diana West and Teresa Pitman who each have masses of experience of helping mums and babies to breastfeed. The book is really easy to read with great illustrations and photos and full of practical information and mother's stories. As Vicky said at the meeting, it is what LLL Leaders refer to all the time. It is bang up to date with all the research on breastfeeding and explains the new approaches to attachment and positioning, and it also talks about the emotional side to breastfeeding and its significance for mother and child.
